In response to a viral video depicting the artist’s assault prior to his passing, a petition has been initiated against both the musician and his record label.

The Marlian music label petition has garnered 50,000 signatures. In response, a Twxyt user exclaimed, “Wow, Nigerians are passionate supporters; they’ll go to great lengths for those they love.”

Another user, Unique Stellp, expressed doubt about the effectiveness of petitions, citing previous experiences.

Lastly, Omo Ola Omo Oye defended the concept of hiring and firing in business, emphasizing it’s not about sentiment. This follows the controversy sparked by a video of Mohbad being harassed by Naira Marley’s aide, Sam Larry.
