Cardi B responded to a Twitter troll who claimed that her husband Offset had cheated on her with fellow rapper Saweetie in a string of tweets.
The Twitter user, who claimed to be Nicki Minaj’s stylist and labeled themselves as a fan, spent hours on Wednesday trying to annoy Cardi. They have since made their account private. The person questioned Cardi about when she would make good on a court debt, namely one stemming from a bar brawl that turned violent in 2020.
Because I have an open case, why are you lying to me and those girls? EVERYTHING IS PUBLIC giving money won’t help me and will only get me in trouble for making things up because you came for me after I was out from prison for stealing $3,000 worth of clothes, Cardi responded in a tweet. She refuted claims that anyone connected to the case stole clothing from the other in a subsequent tweet.
The user then went on to draw attention to Offset’s criminal history, which includes a few relatively minor drug convictions and allegations of possessing a weapon. She said, “My man got a few marijuana charges and gun charges since he ain’t no Puy and was a hustler. “You’re trying to rile me up by bringing up my n*a, but I’d rather dick sling than take Pussy from bitches. DO NOT MENTION HUSBANDS RIGHT NOW.”
Cardi blasted the Twitter troll of fabricating lies about her “without receipts,” as she appeared to believe the user’s unsubstantiated allegation that they collaborated with Nicki.
Offset was still brought up, which Cardi naturally didn’t find very amusing. She tweeted, “The fight is between me and you but you brought up my husband, your friend.” They then accused Offset of being disloyal at this point. No, you’re lying, baby! Cardi composed. You’re making insane lies by starting shit and including female rappers in it WITHOUT RECEIPTS, and no blog has ever mentioned this all of a sudden since you were released from jail five days ago and you made up lied for two hours WITHOUT RECEIPTS!
As things began to calm down, Cardi slammed them for implying that the entire back-and-forth was a publicity hoax. Cardi added, “Girl, you’re supporting a na who went on live and claimed you were paying bitches to have threesomes with you and your trick. “Let a na fight the conflict he initiated! When n***as are attacking me nonstop, I need stunts because I’m the bad guy.
Offset has not responded to the accusation; he is now engaged in litigation with his previous record company Quality Control.
