Christmas presents won’t be accepted by Mayweather because “I Feel Every Day Is Worth Celebrating”
In this festive season, 2022 Christmas, Floyd Money Mayweather, the greatest boxer of his generation who won all 50 of his professional bouts, posted a message on Instagram.

He claims that he doesn’t accept gifts on Christmas because he believes that every day is something to be thankful for.
I won’t be accepting gifts for Christmas, my birthday, Valentine’s Day, or Father’s Day, he declared on Instagram. Because I believe that every day should be celebrated and not just one or two commercial holidays, I give gifts constantly throughout the year.
If a gift is only given during a special occasion, where is the thought behind it? You only consider giving me a gift when the norm dictates that you do so, don’t you? I realise that people can’t give me what I give them, but it’s the little, kind gestures that mean the most. It’s all about giving and receiving. Not the gifts I get four times, but the random gift on any given day is priceless.
