CRISTIANO RONALDO arrived at training this morning, hoping to make his debut on Sunday.

This summer, the Manchester United star’s future has dominated headlines as he urgently hopes to leave Old Trafford.

However, because no move has been completed, he could find himself in the starting lineup against Brighton on Sunday.

Ronaldo, 37, returned to pre-season training last week and was named to United’s 1-1 tie against Rayo Vallecano.

After being substituted at halftime due to a poor performance, CR7 risked Erik ten Hag’s fury by exiting the game 10 minutes early.

Ten Hag, 52, was enraged by the incident… but he may have to start Ronaldo in his Premier League debut regardless.
