Dr. Bawumia Would One Day Become UN Secretary-General After His Reign As President – Nana Obiri Boahen

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president of Ghana, has been predicted by former deputy general secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, to succeed Kofi Annan as the second secretary-general of the United Nations for Ghana.
After spending two terms as President of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia would reportedly command the UN, according to Nana Obiri Boahen.

On Monday, September 5, 2022, Nana Obiri Boahen appeared on Wontumi TV and made his contributions.
Dr. Bawumia’s accomplishments, according to the former NPP deputy general secretary, should make him the country of Ghana’s future president.
He claims that the Vice President’s vigorously promoted digitalization agenda has successfully “Bawumiazed” every nook and crevice of Ghanaian society.

“[We currently have] Bawumianisation of the system. Today, when going to the stadium to watch a match, [you purchase an] e-ticket. When he wasn’t on the scene in Ghana, did we have all these innovations? When he wasn’t on the national scene, the name Bawumia or Bawumianisaiton of the system was not around.
“So when I take it upon myself that I’m supporting such a person, I do not only plan to see him as a Ghanaian leader, as long as I live I plan to make him a global leader and a future leader of the United Nations,” Obiri Boahen said.
To support his argument, he used the example of a former Burmese leader who had been both President and UN Secretary-General.
Obiri Boahen stated that Dr. Bawumia is a valuable asset to Ghana and that he hopes to make the world aware of his brilliant mind by helping him win the position of UN secretary-general.
