Kanye Omari West, popularly known as Kanye West or Ye Twitter account has been restored nearly three weeks after being locked over multiple antisemitic posts and comments.
The singer in a post on his Twitter handle confirming the development on Sunday wrote, “Testing Testing, Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked”.
In reaction to his post, Musk took to Ye’s comment section and positively wrote, “Don’t kill what ye hate, Save what ye love.”
This comes barely 24 hours after the new Twitter owner, Elon Musk, reinstated the former president of the United State, Donald Trump, who was suspended in January 2021, immediately after the Capitol riot for violating the social media platform and for the risk of further incitement of violence.
Ye had earlier agreed to acquire the libertarian-leaning social network, Parler. The company made the announcement days after Kanye West’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were temporarily locked for spate of post that were criticized for being anti-semitic.
