The future of Lionel Messi is still up in the air, and speculation has been rampant. At the end of the current season, his existing contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire, and he will then be free to chose his next club.

Even though there were discussion on a potential move to Inter Miami only last week and how the link to FC Barcelona had cooled down, things could be shifting now.

The club president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, met with Jorge Messi, the Argentine star’s father and agent, according to Catalan radio. A magnificent return to the Camp Nou is the first item on the meeting.

All options, however, remain open – including staying at PSG.
