“I Came Into The Music Industry Directly From A UK Prison” – Burna Boy Emotionally Reveals

Nigerian music guru, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy in a now-deleted tweet, has disclosed that he entered the Nigerian music industry directly from a UK prison and he never knew he could live even live this long.
The vocalist claimed to be from Chelmsford Prison and expressed doubt about his ability to survive this long. Burna claimed in the tweet that he finds enjoyment in music and doesn’t give much thought to the title of “Biggest Nigerian artist.”

He also added that, If anyone knew just half of the things he used to do for money, risking his freedom daily, everyone would be happier for him.
He wrote in now deleted tweets;
“I came into the music industry straight from Chelmsford HMP. I had no idea I would even live this long.
“So when people talk about me now, it’s all just funny. Of course, I would perform with my injured leg, or even no legs or arms.
“Nigeria really doesn’t know me. I don’t care to be the biggest Nigerian artist. I’m just happy I can do what I love and take care of my people from it.
“If you knew just half of the shit I used to do for money, risking my freedom daily, you would be way happier for me.”
