I want to live forever like Bob Marley — Wizkid wishes

Famous Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun who is populaly known as Wizkid has said that it is on his wish list to live forever like the late Reggae icon Bob Marley.

According to him, his biggest inspiration has always been Bob Marley hence his comment, dreams and wishes to live forever.

In a recent interview he granted following his yet to be debuted album titled ‘More Love Less Ego’, the ‘Forever’ hitmaker noted that he’s trying all he could in his powers to manage his egos so he can live forever like Bob Marley.

Wizkid explained that though Bob Marley is dead and long gone, his legacies still live on through his music and that is what he’s aiming at the moment in his music career.

In his exact words, he said;

“I want to live for ever. Not physically, but for whatever I create to live for ever.”

He added that watching the Marley musical play reaffirmed what he wanted for his life.

He said; “I was like, ‘Yo, we’re watching a Bob Marley play and this guy died decades ago.’

“I didn’t even know that he died at 36. He did so much at a young age. It just reaffirms what I do; I have to keep taking this to the highest heights.

Because I know one day they’re definitely going to create a play about me.”
