Kanye West will not face charges after reportedly striking a fan outside a Los Angeles hotel in January while seeking for his autograph.

While the 45-year-old musician was being probed for criminal violence, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office told TMZ on Tuesday that there simply wasn’t enough evidence.

‘After a comprehensive and careful assessment of the material, our office is declining to file based on no reasonable prospect of conviction,’ it said.

Moving on, Kanye West (pictured in Los Angeles in November) will not face prosecution for reportedly assaulting a fan outside a Los Angeles hotel in January, according to TMZ on Tuesday.

Kanye allegedly got into an argument with the fan outside the Soho Warehouse, a members-only club in Downtown Los Angeles, around 3 a.m. in January, according to FOX 11.

An enraged West can be heard shouting ‘get away from me!’ at a woman who appears to be trying to calm him down in a video obtained by TMZ.

In the video, a woman is heard telling West,’No reasonable prospect of conviction’: The 45-year-old year-old artist (seen December 2018) was being investigated for criminal battery, but the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office revealed to TMZ on Tuesday that there simply wasn’t enough evidence Kanye and then-girlfriend Julia Fox (pictured) were seen at Delilah nightclub in West Hollywood earlier in the evening on January 13 prior to the alleged altercation with a fan that occurred around 3 a.m. outside Soho Warehouse in Los Angeles

As she tries to calm him down she says, ‘give me your hand,’ to which an angry West snaps back: ‘No, get away from me! Ain’t no hands, ain’t no hands.’

The woman then adds, ‘I am your family. Give me your hand.’

West is then heard telling her, ‘You were supposed to talk to her!’

However, it is unclear who the rapper is referring to.

Footage shows the autograph hunter laid out on the pavement. TMZ reports West allegedly punched him twice, first in his neck then to his head.

According to reports, the fan approached West, who was sitting in his SUV outside the club, and asked for his autograph, which reportedly led to a heated exchange.

The argument then turned physical and West allegedly punched the fan, knocking him to the ground.

West was not at the scene when authorities arrived, FOX 11 reported.

A video obtained by TMZ that was reportedly taken by a bystander around the same time of the incident, shows an apparent irate West.

He is heard yelling, ‘Did y’all say that or not? Did y’all say that or not? Cause that’s what happened right f–king now.’

No arrests have been made and LAPD is investigating the case, a police spokesperson confirmed.

Earlier in the evening, West had been with girlfriend Julia Fox at Delilah in West Hollywood for a star-studded dinner date after spending the evening with Madonna and Floyd Mayweather.
