Lionel Messi’s goal against Haifa set records in Champions League
Only 10 minutes into their match against Maccabi Haifa were Paris Saint-Germain behind until Lionel Messi tied the score.
Kylian Mbappé received the ball from the Argentine wide, who then drove to the byline and cut his cross back into the six-yard box.
Dylan Batubinsika, a Maccabi Haifa defender, was unable to clear the ball, and Messi took advantage by tapping in from close range to score his first Champions League goal this season.
