Manchester United: Rio Ferdinand names top star Ten Hag will offload

Rio Ferdinand, a legendary player of Manchester United, predicts that manager Erik ten Hag would permit captain Harry Maguire to leave the team in the upcoming summer.
Maguire has had a challenging start to the new season thus far.

Ten Hag has moved the English defender to the substitutes’ bench because the Dutchman prefers the center-back pairing of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.

“If there is takers I think Erik ten Hag lets him go,” Ferdinand said on his Vibe with FIVE podcast.
“I think he will want to go, if he is not playing, I don’t think he wants to sit there – there are other people who have chosen to sit there when they aren’t playing and that’s fine, but I don’t think Harry Maguire is one of those guys.
“He loves football and wants to play, and he will have an open and honest conversation with the manager.”
