Ahead of the FIFA World Cup, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have teamed together in one of the most iconic sporting photos of the year.
One of the best images of 2022 has been released thanks to a collaboration between Messi and Ronaldo. The two eminent players are spotted playing chess together while intensely focused on their upcoming move.
Both players are regarded as among the greatest of all time, with many placing them in the top two and finding it difficult to separate them. Given that Messi and Ronaldo are 35 and 37 years old, respectively, and that the World Cup is approaching, many people think this will be their final opportunity to win the tournament.

In the following days, both will begin their World Cup campaigns. On November 22, Messi and the Argentina team play Saudi Arabia, and on November 24, Ronaldo and Portugal play Ghana.
