PSG vs Brest: Hakimi reacts to Messi’s assist to Neymar

Achraf Hakimi, a fullback for Paris Saint-Germain, praised teammate Lionel Messi after assisting Neymar Jr. against Brest.
PSG defeated Brest 1-0 in their Ligue 1 game on Saturday to maintain their perfect record. Messi’s spectacular pass to Neymar was the highlight of the game.

The former Barcelona captain picked up the ball in midfield and lobbed it for Neymar, who buried the ball into the far corner, to give PSG the victory over Brest.
The PSG team has come under fire for its lack of cohesiveness, especially among the strikers.
It all began with an alleged dispute between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar this season after a penalty during a French Ligue 1 game.

Messi’s weekend assist was a prime example of the team’s lack of synergy, according to Hakimi, who does not dispute that.
Hakimi made the following comments in his post-game press conference following their victory over Brest:
“When I make the call and Leo [Messi] does not give it, it’s because he has seen that there is another player to whom he can pass.
“This is not a problem. That is how today he made the pass to Neymar and we took the three points.”
