Rooney criticizes Mbappe for being impolite to Lionel Messi

Football icon Wayne Rooney of Manchester United has criticized Kylian Mbappe for his harsh behavior toward Lionel Messi, another teammate.

Rooney criticizes Mbappe for being impolite to Lionel Messi and says, “Someone should remind Mbappe that when Messi was 23, he had already won four Ballon d’Ors.”

Recall that the Frenchman and Neymar got into a heated argument about who would take a penalty after he had already missed one during PSG’s match against Montpellier last Saturday.

Following the penalty kick incident, the legendary Lionel Messi was also seen being pushed by the 23-year-old Mbappe.

Rooney, meanwhile, has criticized Mbappe’s behavior, saying the PSG striker should keep in mind that Messi had already won four Ballon d’Or titles by the time he was 23 years old.

According to Marca, he said that “a 23-year-old player commits to challenging Messi” to Depar Sports.

“I’ve never seen someone with a larger ego.

Someone needs to tell Mbappe that Messi already had four Ballon d’Or victories by the time he was 23 years old, he added.
