Ghanaian social media users hailed Grammy Award-winning rapper Burna Boy, a Nigerian, for his constant expressions of affection for Black Sherif, a rising star in Ghana.
This comes after Burna Boy performed at the KOKO in London on Friday to support Blacko at his event.
The Second Sermon remix, performed on stage by Blacko and Burna Boy, was among the evening’s most enthralling performances.
Ghanaians are very appreciative of Burna Boy’s persistent and ardent support for Black Sherif.
Burna Boy is supporting Blacko, a fan said on the video, whereas other egotistical Ghanaian singers, like Shatta Wale, would be whining because Nigerians were not supporting them.
Black Sherif, a similarly young Nigerian superstar, has never received such affection from Shatta himself.
The fan wrote: “ Burna will do all these and still Ghanaians will complain Nigerians don’t support us. Burna on blacko and Wizkid was out there to support King Promise. When was the last time Sarkodie Shatta or Stonebuoy went to support any upcoming artiste in Nigeria or Togo and any neighboring country… Ghanaians are so selfish with some stinking self-entitlement and aggrandizement. Big ups to Naija..always,”
