‘Tha Carter VI’ Album finally Announced by Lil Wayne

The sixth album in Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter series will be released, he has stated.

Weezy shared an Instagram video on Saturday announcing Tha Carter VI after hinting at it during a live performance this past weekend (Aug 6). Tunechi, please. I’m grateful. Before revealing the exciting news, he informs his supporters in the video, “I ain’t sh*t without you. “Tha Carter VI is coming, I don’t know whether you heard,”

Weezy’s last full-length album, Funeral, was published in January 2020; Tha Carter VI will be his first album to be released in more than two years. Wayne’s fifth album to reach the apex of the list, his 13th studio album, arrived at the top of the Billboard 200. Tha Carter III, I Am Not a Human Being, Tha Carter IV, and Tha Carter V are other albums by the veteran that have accomplished that accomplishment.

Young Money alumni Nicki Minaj and Drake joined Lil Wayne this past weekend at Drake’s most recent OVO Fest in Toronto. The trio sang hit collaborations from the Young Money repertoire like “Bedrock,” “Up All Night,” “The Motto,” and “Moment For Life” during the eagerly awaited reunion, which came after separate performances by the three singers.
