Former Nigerian captain, John Mikel Obi, has opened up on reasons why he has never been a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Chelsea star insisted he has always preferred Lionel Messi over the ex-Manchester United player.
Ronaldo is currently a free agent after Man United terminated his contract this week.
According to Mikel Obi, Ronaldo has so much ego which makes him dislike the Portuguese international.

“I’ve never been a Ronaldo fan really. For me, when a player has so much ego, I don’t really get it. He’s never been one of my favorite players and that’s why I always go for Messi really,” Mikel Obi told Dubai Eye.
Ronaldo became the first player in World Cup history to score in five successive tournament after his goal against Ghana in their match opener.
